Ashwin's practice focuses primarily on patent prosecution spanning computer, electrical, and internet technologies. His work includes patent preparation and prosecution related to network systems, data storage systems, synchronization protocols, cluster management software, and telecommunication systems.
Ashwin joined Campbell Stephenson LLP as an associate in 2013. Prior to joining the firm, Ashwin was an associate at a boutique intellectual property law firm in Silicon Valley where he drafted and prosecuted patent applications across a wide spectrum of technologies including communications, fuel cells, haptic interfaces, industrial design, semiconductors, social media, and hardware virtualization. He also assisted clients with IP due diligence investigations, opinions on infringement and validity, and patent litigation support.
