Dr. Bharucha has a wide range of experience in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. He has counseled clients both in reviewing their intellectual property rights and in evaluating the intellectual property of competitors. His work has included analyses of numerous technologies, including network systems, software, telecommunications hardware, signal processing, analog electronics, digital electronics, optics, biomedical sensors, and various mechanical devices.
Cyrus has been an associate with Campbell Stephenson LLP since February 2005. From 2002 to 2004, Cyrus was an associate at Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione in Chicago. Prior to attending law school, Cyrus was employed as a Patent Agent from 1997 to 1999.
At the University of Texas at Austin, Cyrus researched the interplay between chaos and quantum mechanics (1992-97). This work involved the design and construction of numerous analog, digital, and optical systems for experiments with laser-cooled atoms. Cyrus also has technical experience through work at Sematech (Austin, 1996), the McDonnell Douglas Space Systems Company (Houston, 1989), and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (Houston, 1987).
