Ronald's practice primarily involves the acquisition of intellectual property rights, including United States and foreign patents, trademarks, service marks, and other forms of intellectual property.
The technical areas in which Ronald has prepared and prosecuted patent applications include: computer architecture, storage systems, semiconductor fabrication techniques, cellular technology, e-commerce, software, and testing and verification.
Prior to joining Campbell Stephenson in 2008, Ronald was an associate at Dillon & Yudell, LLP, where he prepared and prosecuted patent applications. Ronald also worked as a technical advisor for patent prosecution for the Austin office of Bracewell & Giuliani, LLP before attending law school at the University of Texas. During engineering school at Texas A&M, Ronald worked in various sections of Texas Instruments where he performed destructive and non-destructive physical tests on integrated circuit packages utilizing scanning acoustic microscopy, performed integrated circuit testing and verification, and designed a minimum constraints test flow for single-port and two-port compiler memories.
